Responsible for the integrated media planning and services in QSR, franchisee business environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Local market planning experience a must.
Strong understanding of retail client needs and ability to develop communication plans to meet goals.
Works with the Group Media Director, interprets, coordinates, and integrates, as necessary, all assigned media activities, including presentation to Account Service and the client, as required.
Directly Manages a Media Planner and investment teams to ensure clients’ marketing needs are met
Prepare and present strategic recommendations for 16 DMAs in Southwestern Region of US
Develop presentations for monthly meetings (monthly or in-person)
Plan, and schedule all broadcast and digital media for markets
Plan, buy, and schedule all OOH and sponsorships
Manage print campaigns to ensure all store locations in each market are being covered with the print drops – including detail review of profiles and maps to ensure adequate coverage is being met for each location
Utilizes all available media research to obtain, study and evaluate ratings and audience composition of media vehicles to determine reach and frequencies and which vehicle(s) would most effectively reach target audience.
Studies demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences for print, broadcast, or online advertising.
Leads and monitors the day-to-day activities, including execution of all off and online media plans assigned. Stewards/monitors media for placement and time discrepancies and negotiates adjustments to time or space
Create, manage all local flowcharts
Monitor, interpret and report on all campaign tactics
Manages broadcast/digital trafficking. Ensures that spots trafficked are aligned with the local market buys.
Manages Digital Ad Ops. Works with internal team to ensure traffic assets (including tags/UTM codes) are issued for every market.
Responsible for monthly billing. Works with internal team to verify invoice accuracy based on client approved flowcharts and estimates. Ensure reconciliations are occurring on a timely basis.
Regular reconciliations across markets
Assists Account Service in planning to overall media budgets.
Visits and confers with media representatives / vendors to determine best placement and ensure optimum use of budgeted funds and long-term contracts.
Keeps up-to-date on all available market and consumer information necessary to the preparation of the most effective media planning.
Works with Account Team to stay current on store openings/closings for media targeting purposes
Maintains stellar relationship with clients, Account Service, and media representatives in order to further mutual interests of the agency and its clients.
Helps train buyers and planners on the proper methods of preparing, evaluating, and implementing online and offline media plans.
4+ Years of relevant industry and media expertise
Strong mathematical stills required
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines at once
Franchise experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
MRI, Scarborough, Kantar, MediaOcean, Sizmek or equivalent
