Yes, Toshiba makes copiers, but they do much more than that. With the addition of Digital Signage Services, they are able to offer businesses a master plan that allows them to communicate more smartly.
Historically, we have successfully spoken to the IT and finance departments. But as Toshiba began to broaden their reach with digital signage, we needed to speak to the marketing departments too. And we needed to break through a clutter of sameness with the other hardware companies.
To do this, we focused on a rebranding effort that showcased solutions instead of just selling copiers and signs. We started by creating a bold and clever visual language for the brand. This helped us tell Toshiba’s new "Managed by Masters" story clearly and directly through a dynamic website, print, mobile and digital ads. We even went so far as developing in-office posters to help spread the word from within.
