DGWB President/Co-Founder and TVI Founder awarded at 6th Annual Leaders of Integrity luncheon
Mike Weisman, president/co-founder of DGWB Advertising and Communications and founder of The Values Institute at DGWB (TVI), enhances his stance as a leader in the Southern California business community and values-driven marketing landscape by receiving the American Life Education Award at the 6th Annual Leaders of Integrity: An American Journey luncheon Nov. 5 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel.
Weisman, whose American Life award was for the Education category, was among more than 500 local business leaders at the event and was recognized on behalf of his pioneering work with TVI, which he founded in 2010.
The Leaders of Integrity luncheon this year celebrated four individuals with compelling stories about how people can shape a personal and professional life defined by integrity and the influencing of doing good. Also receiving American Life Awards were Dan Cathy (Business), chairman/president of Chick-fil-A; Martha Daniel (Technology), founder and CEO of cyber security company IMRI; and Ali Woodard (Social Concern), founder and CEO of Fristers, a non-profit supporting teenage mothers and their children.
“I am honored and humbled to be given such recognition alongside my peers at the Leaders of Integrity,” Weisman said. “In today’s business culture, companies benefit most when they maintain a commitment to relationships based on trust and an understanding of the values they share with their consumers.
Along with co-founding DGWB, a full-service Southern California-based agency best known for its shared values approach to integrated marketing, Weisman created TVI, a social entrepreneurialism think thank based at DGWB’s Santa Ana, Calif., headquarters.
