How do you help one of the world’s largest providers of fresh fruits and vegetables boost overall produce sales while increasing awareness of the brand’s dedication to health and nutrition research? Dole’s fresh produce divisions and nutritional research arm wanted to join together to promote better health through increased consumption of fresh produce, so Amusement Park created “Get Up and Grow!” – a year-long healthy-lifestyle initiative designed to create a happier, healthier world by challenging consumers to adopt a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables.
Campaign elements were designed to make healthy eating easy and fun, ranging from a 44-city experiential tour, ongoing healthy living articles and tips, dozens of fruit and veggie recipes, and an interactive online healthy eating pledge – all hosted on a customized campaign microsite. Throughout, the campaign was supported via web, social, PR, digital media, print advertising and even on millions of DOLE® Banana stickers in stores nationwide.
